How to reach Trieste and Friuli Venezia Giulia:
By Plane
National and international flights arrive at Trieste Airport in Ronchi dei Legionari, that is 40 Km from Trieste and Udine, 15 Km from Gorizia, 50 Km from Pordenone.
A shuttle service from the Airport to the Central Railway Station of Trieste is available.
Trieste could be easily reached from the Airports of Venice and Ljubljana (Slovenja), which are about 120km far away, and are connected to the city through motorways.
By Car
A well developed motorway network connects the Region with the rest of Italy and with the main Austrian and Slovenian cities.
