The International Operetta Festival, organized by the Fondazione Teatro Lirico “Giuseppe Verdi”, has got to its 40th edition and is one of the most important events of the cultural and musical summer of Trieste.
Unique of its kind, this Festival has made Trieste the unquestioned capital of operetta, besides an important reference point in the panorama of not only Italian performances. Every year, with a fantastic alternation, classic operettas and musicals are performed.
