The Key Tre Viaggi agency offers a new opportunity for its more curious clients: discovering the Collio and the Karst onboard the legendary Vespa! This is a great way to recall the good times gone by and be kids again, and to get back in touch with the adventurer inside us all.
By choosing Vespas to visit our territory, we decide to link, in an original manner, the image of two of the flagship "made in Italy" products: the unmistakeable Vespa and wine.
For food and wine lovers, we organise tastings of wine, prosciutto, cheese, honey, and olive oil in the Region's most renowned farms, where you will taste the typical products of our land, many of which are still made according to traditional methods.
The Karst
Characterised by a harsh, yet fascinating environment, in all its colours and landscapes, the Karst has a lengthy eno-gastronomic tradition blending Italian, Slovenian, Austrian, and Hungarian flavours. During your Vespa tour you will be able to taste local products (wine, oil, honey, and cheese) made in the region's farms, and appreciate the variety of colours and scents offered by the territory.
The wild beauty of Trieste's coast, and of the Karst in general, will leave you breathless... you will have plenty of chances to get off the beaten path and explore unpaved roads, admire the characteristic sinkholes known as doline, explore caves and ancient quarries, with enjoyable stops in typical trattorias and osimizas, frugal seasonal restaurants where you can taste locally-made foods and the mighty Terrano, as full-bodied and intense a wine as you will find anywhere, before making your way back home.
The Collio
The Collio Vespa tour is aimed at all lovers of eno-gastronomic culture and fine wines such as Ribolla, Picolit, Malvasia and Friulano. It will lead you through an endless rollercoaster of colourful and evocative hills and valleys, enhanced by the fact that the only human presence is that of wine makers, with their elegant vineyards scattered here and there.
The Vespa is an excellent means of travel up and down the area's steep slope, and is certainly better than other, more cumbersome vehicles!
