2nd day: Breakfast. Morning devoted to visiting the multicultural aspects of Trieste, crossroads of peoples and cultures. A visit to the Revoltella Museum, a Neorenaissance-style palace, originally the residence of the Baron Pasquale Revoltella, today a renowned modern art gallery featuring works by the most famous Jewish artists from Trieste, and to the Risiera di San Sabba, the only Nazi extermination camp existing in Italy, now an important commemorative monument. In the afternoon you can visit the places characterising the multireligiosity of Trieste: The lavish Serbian-Orthodox Church of San Spiridione, built in the Neo-Bizantine style and decorated with monumental mosaics, the church of S. Nicolò dei Greci of the Greek-Orthodox community, with a sober neoclassical façade, and the San Giusto Cathedral. Overnight stay.
3rd day: Breakfast. In the morning individual visit with the multimedia guide to the area of the former Jewish ghetto, today rich in antique and junk dealers, to the "Carlo e Vera Wagner" Museum of the Jewish Community, holding a wealth of documents, textiles, furnishings and ritual art objects among the most valuable in Italy, and to the Morpurgo Museum, in the former flat of the Jewish family Morpurgo, featuring their original furniture, evidence of the 19th-century bourgeois taste. This itinerary leads you to the discovery of the Umberto Saba Antiquarian Bookshop, of the Bomboniera confectionery founded by the Eppinger Jewish family, the Old San Marco Café, ever since a meeting point for such Triestine intellectuals as Saba and Svevo, concluding with the monumental Synagogue, considered to be among the largest in Europe, where you can follow an interesting guided tour.
